My passion for community development and my strong desire to contribute meaningfully to addressing societal issues inspired me to pursue the Human Services Professional Diploma program. I have always been motivated to support individuals facing challenges, and this program provides the knowledge and practical experience needed to make a positive impact in the community.
My proudest accomplishment at Columbia is being selected to receive a financial award in recognition of my academic performance. I felt truly honoured and grateful, as it is a priviledge to be chosen for such recognition. It was especially meaningful because I did not expect it.
Receiving this scholarship has had a meaningful impact on my educational experience and personal life. It has helped me pay back a portion of my student loans, reducing my financial stress and allowing me to focus more on my studies. This support has also encouraged me to continue striving for excellence in my program.

After graduation, my goal is to work in the social services sector, supporting programs that reduce poverty and promote the well-being of individuals and communities. I hope to contribute to meaningful initiatives that create lasting social change. I also plan to further my education in International Development and Sustainability to broaden my impact.
