It was a bit scary getting an e-mail out of the blue asking me to come into the school with no explanation. I thought perhaps I had done something wrong, and was going in to receive a warning of some sort. What a relief when I found out they wanted to give me money!
Your support makes it easier for nursing students to learn their trade, which means better care [from] those nurses down the road. Who knows, maybe you will be one of their patients one day!
Scoring 100% on the final drug calculation exam is my proudest accomplishment. Putting my education to use helping people in Long-Term-Care has been the most meaningful experience. That’s when all the education started to come together for me.
[Columbia Learning Society] took some of the final stress off my shoulders while I continued to look for part-time employment.
[My goal after graduation is] to try a variety of types of nursing to see what suits me best, and perhaps start travelling again if possible.
