I want them to know that their support is deeply appreciated and unprecedented in many student’s lives.

I’ve always been drawn to the human body and how it works, especially how to care for it. Nursing is one of those professions where learning never stops, and I truly love the opportunity to keep learning.

[The CLS scholarship] came to me at a time when I truly needed it, and I felt incredibly blessed to receive it, as it supported me all the way through to my final day of nursing school.

I want them to know that their support is deeply appreciated and unprecedented in many student’s lives. It can make a meaningful difference in a student’s life.

 

I think my most meaningful experience at Columbia was finding instructors who genuinely rooted for me. Having that belief and support from the people education you can make all the difference in your academic journey.

My goal after graduation is to work in the field of pediatrics. I hope to return to school after gaining experience as an LPN to further pursue my dream of working in pediatric oncology.
